Bangla News - Modi says India and Bangladesh will travel the road of development together:

He has recalled the heady days of the 1971 Liberation War and subtly stressed that the two nations were equals destined to grow together.

Modi promised to work towards settlements for sharing the waters of the common rivers including Teesta.

 He hinted that he would need to build consensus within India before the agreements could be pushed through, somewhat on the lines of the Land Boundary Agreement.
